My posed newborn sessions are my more popular sessions and can be done both in my Huapai studio or at your home (please note there is a $100 travel fee for in home sessions).
Sessions include baby posed on a blanket (both in the nude and wrapped), sibling photos if applicable and parent/family photos. The poses included during these sessions require a high level of skill to ensure your baby's safety is at a high standard and that baby is kept settled and happy. This does require some time so most sessions are about 2-3 hours in length While bringing your baby to my studio allows for a controlled and very comfortable environment, I can appreciate leaving your home can be very daunting, especially for those mama's who have had a C section or have a toddler in tow. My in home sessions are ideal for those who prefer to be in the comfort of their home, and while it does require an additional $100 to cover my time to pack up my studio and travel, it does mean you can literally hang out in pyjamas while I do my thing. I do find babies are slightly more settled at home, and toddlers respond much better to me in their own space than in my studio. Before opening my studio in August 2017 I had worked in peoples home for more than four years so I'm more than used to working in any kind of space and can set myself up to best suit you. |
My Huapai studio has been especially built with newborn sessions in mind, and is a cozy warm environment. There is a large futon couch with comfy cushions perfect for breastfeeding (and napping!), I have wifi available if required, and even though my space is shared with midwives my space is beautifully private and quiet. Just up the road is a park perfect for Dad's to take older siblings to burn some energy, as well as numerous eateries close by for snacks. |
